March 17, 2011 – Dollars for Scholars scholarship applications & criteria information distributed to LqPV Senior Class of 2011

April 11, 2011 - Dollars for Scholars scholarship applications due in the LqPV Counselor’s Office by 3:15 p.m

April 11, 2011 – Deadline for Service Learning Hours for seniors

May 4, 2011 – Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Recognition Night for presentation of Scholarship Awards at 8:00 p.m. in the LqPV Theater – for all recipients and guests. Reception following program in Commons.

• List all classes taken, grades 9-12, in a Discipline or Subject area if requested on the Criteria Sheet. For example, the Agriculture Scholarship requires 2 credits of Agriculture classes. List all Agriculture related classes on the application.
• Academic Rank Points, Cumulative GPA and Class Rank will be posted by Counseling Office, as necessary. DO NOT complete this part of the application.
• Be sure to list ALL possible activities on the Senior Activity Sheet. Use another sheet if necessary. You will not receive points if you do not list an activity.
• If the Scholarship Criteria ask for Activities in certain areas, i.e. Speech/Theater, calculate those points and list on the last question on Application Form if the activity relates to the category criteria.
• Grade Point values in Discipline area are shown in the table below. Semester classes are worth .5 credit and Year classes are worth 1.0 credit.
• Third quarter grades will be used as semester grades for your senior year 2nd semester.
• PSEO classes are worth 1.0 credit. Classes not yet completed will earn 2.0 grade points.
